Prison officials announced that Warren Jeffs the convicted pedophile and leader of the Fundamentalist Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints  based in Texas (Yearning for Zion ranch) is in a coma because he has been fasting.

Jeffs is starving himself to death because he wants to be in control and this is impossible while in solitary. He would rather die than live in a prison which will be just fine for most people.

By starving to death, he will become a martyr. His followers will claim the government killed their prophet by using its evil,corrupt and godless legal system. Further, his threats that God will condemn the court including the jury will be used to elevate him to the level of Joseph Smith. This is what he has wanted all along and his followers will give it to them.

Over time, this adulation will be insidious and infect the minds of many many more.

The way to end this would be to just let him die and charge his wives with pedophilia like their husband. They knew and condoned his actions and are equally guilty. Let a jury decide in this life and let god figure out the details after death.
