Those with Pre-existing Conditions Can
Get Insurance
July 13, 2011
As state employees,
active and retired we are fortunate to have health insurance though it costs
more for much less. Many of us know a person who has a pre-existing
condition such as diabetes, cancer or asthma but don’t have health
insurance. There is now an affordable government health insurance plan that
will cover children and adults. There is no cost to apply.
They can check Nevada’s
premium rate
table and read the “Frequently Asked Questions” page by clicking here. Please
tell them visit the government’s Pre-Existing
Condition Insurance Plan‘s website.
