It happens every legislative session…  lots of drama and dysfunction. From the beginning, hundreds of BDRs become bills, agency budgets are scrutinized then “closed”,  and games are played on both sides.  The process is designed to waste time and build political pressure… it is meant to create a crisis. This legislative drama has remained unchanged for decades and again guarantees no reform for our failed tax system, no improvements to our educational system and the continuation of the State Employee Tax.

It is shameful politics. It is Nevada Politics.

Right now, there is no budget deal and this is good news for Sandoval because it puts extreme pressure on legislators to wrap up business before the June 6th deadline. Sandoval has simply lets things play out in their dramatic and dysfunctional way and this year his loyal mantra-zombies insures a political win for him.
