Ramiro Ortega-Hernandez, of Idaho Falls, Idaho was arrested yesterday after he fired shots at the White House with his AK-47 knock-off. He told family and friends in Idaho that he was Jesus* and left town abruptly with the sole purpose of assassinating President Obama.

Who knew Jesus had returned? It was never mentioned in the Twitter-verse.

It was assumed for centuries that Jesus lived then died to show Christians the way to peace and heaven. He was supposed to return to establish his kingdom but nothing was said about bringing a gun to a such an event. A rifle seems bit messy and human-like. So, where are the celestial powers Jesus is supposed to have? Would a rifle really be necessary?  Ortega-Hernandez er ... Jesus thinks so.

Further, many fundamentalist Christians believe during his return, non believers, especially the Jews will be killed because they won't convert to a peaceful religion such as Christianity which is based on love and guns. BTW, a god-like avenger is all the rage in Christian (and Muslim) circles and Ortega-Hernandez is showing the way. They must be tingling over this!

All this is too crazy for most people.

Ortega-Hernandez is simply a nut like three Republican presidential candidates, Rick Perry, Herman Cain and Michelle Bachmann, who claim God talked to them and told them to run for office. Joseph Smith undoubtedly talked to Mitt Romney.

Since Jesus has returned but is now left without a rifle or bail, his judge needs asked him what is going on! Who is going to win next year?
