Michele Bachmann, a Tea-bagger presidential wanna-be from Minnesota said this in an interview today:

"Well what I want them to know is just like, John Wayne was from Waterloo, Iowa. That's the kind of spirit that I have, too.”

Hmm. THE John Wayne of western movies and an all around American hero was not born in Waterloo, Iowa. There was another who lived there and he was John Wayne Gacy the convicted serial rapist and killer of 33 young men and boys. Waterloo,Iowa was where John Wayne Gacy started his sexually perverted career which lead him to murder and eventual execution on May 10,1994.

But then, maybe she does have his serial killer spirit and we are just not getting it.
