Good Riddance to
Moammar Gadhafi'
February 21, 2011
Moammar Gadhafi' is on the run
from his own people after being in power for over 40 years. They have had
enough of his murderous ways, thefts and debauchery.
Many high level officials in his
government are resigning and even defecting, saying he needs to leave.
Though many will support him by killing and intimidation, the momentum is
building to force him and his inner circle out of power.
Finally.
Unfortunately, there will be many more unnecessary deaths because the house
of Gadhafi' will resist change as shown by his son, Saif who recently
said that his family would 'fight until the last bullet'. His words define
their state of mind and shows how their souls are black and without
redemption.
Moammar Gadhafi' can prevent more deaths by immediately abdicating and
leaving. He can tell his supporters to lay down their arms and stop the
violence. But after being in power for so long and feeling entitled, he will
not leave without some sort of payback directed at his enemy, the people of
Libya. His anger is too great.
Tragic.
Free Libyans must round-up their
traitors and bring them to a swift and certain justice.
Then, the new Libya must be
democratic with free elections and there must be freedom of speech which
embraces non-violent dissent. The resources of the country are vast and its
wealth is more within its people than its oil. This will make Libya a proud
and independent nation.
