Bachmann Insanity Continues
November 2, 2011
On October 28, 2011, Michele Bachmann, said in an interview that it was
President Obama who was responsible for the cost of the Iraq War and the lives lost
in it. She refused acknowledge
that Obama became President in January 2009 almost 6 years after the start
of the war.
This is what Bachmann said:
"under Barack Obama's watch, we have
expended $805 billion to liberate the people of Iraq and, more importantly,
4,400 American lives."

Bush started the Iraq War in
March 2003 because of his intent to kill dictator, Saddam Hussein. He used
WMDs as an excuse to start that war and it has cost us about $805 billion
and 4,482 American lives. This does not take into account the tens of
thousand of Iraqis killed.
Again, Bachmann irrationally
accuses and misuses information to unjustly attack Obama. Her position is
incredible and insane.
Further, her idea that the US is
being kicked out of Iraq and Obama is responsible for this, is equally
insane. Bush successfully negotiated a deal to provide immunity for our
soldiers in Iraq and Obama tried to get an extension past 2011 but was
unable to do so. So, rather than allowing Iraq to prosecute our
soldiers, he order them to leave. Obama's order was prudent but a mentally ill
Bachmann just can't see the facts or logic.
