In this legislative session, there are proposals to impose service and margin taxes but with Sandoval’s veto threat and his mantra-zombies lurking, they will likely fail. If they were to pass, brothels, would be taxed so there would be a little extra revenue but those measures could generate even more if prostitution were legalized and regulated in Clark county. How much more? About $146 million a year according to an industry rep.

My question is: “Why should we continue to let casinos profit from prostitution in Clark county? “

Oh yeah, silly me, Sandoval is leaving mining and gaming alone this session as payback for the money they gave for his campaign last year. Nevada politics… so simple… so transparently and whorably corrupt.
