The Las Vegas Review Journal has replaced Sherm Frederick its publisher and editor, Thomas Mitchell. Frederick was also replaced as Stephens Media CEO.

Both replaced and demoted men made the Review Journal a political newspaper allied with the Republican and Teabagger parties to get Harry Reid. They made allegations based on myth and falsehoods and offered no apologies when confronted with the facts. Their hatred drove them to attack Reid, and it seems that has been their downfall.

The actions of these two men should have been curtailed long ago. The Review-Journal changed from a fairly conservative but reasonably accurate news outlet to a radically biased one relying on lies and innuendo. The damage to their credibility has been enormous.

Maybe the staff changes will improve the image of the newspaper.
