Teabagger Crazy

April 21, 2010

Teabagger views are incoherent and contradictory which makes them crazy. For example:

Teabaggers like to think they are a grassroots effort but they were born from the Republican Party and funded by them. This makes them dependent on an established political machine based in Washington, DC. and Texas

They don't like the new health care law saying it gives government control over health care. It doesn't. Instead they think health insurance company death panels and premium increases of more than 15 percent a year are okay.

They hate government health care but readily accept Medicare and want it untouched because they earned it. Never mind millions of people have no health insurance and must do without.

They hate government programs but demand their Social Security. They got theirs and to hell with everyone else.

They think the current administration wants to disproportionately help the poor rather than them. They are selfish with an undertone of racism.

They claim they are independent but about three fourths are Republicans and even want their movement to be allied with the Republican Party. Unsurprisingly most Teabagger endorsements have gone to Republican candidates.

They claim they are just regular folk but in reality they earn more than the average American, are better educated and most likely have health care coverage or Medicare. Because of their wealth they are not regular folk.

They claim they uphold the Constitutional ideal of equality but very few of their participants are non-white. Also, many in their group openly carry racist signs, make threat against the government and say racist things about President Obama claiming free speech as a defense.

They want tax cuts and won't acknowledge that more than 90 percent of all Americans got a tax cut in 2009, except for those families making more than a quarter million dollars. They would even choose a tax cut over reducing the deficit which is contrary to their desire for a small government.

All these things show they are crazy. Teabagger crazy.
