Tea Party Scam
October 3, 2010
The Tea Party has gotten a lot of
attention this year mainly because it is an election year and what they say
they want is really what everyone wants for the country, less government and
debt.
It superficially sounds great, except
the Tea Party is a lie, a sham and scam.
Party members are angry and frustrated and
going to the streets to vent is all good but while they are good at saying
what they want and railing against what is bad, they have no solutions other
than demanding government cuts and reduced spending.
They don't say how this will be done. Cut
spending... okay, where and how. Reduce government’s size, fine where will
you cut?
What are their ideas for jobs, a
competitive educational system, adequate health care and an effective
national defense? They have no ideas, only generalities and those don't run
a country nor do they change it.
All they complain about is Obama... Obama
this and Obama that. They have demonized him to divert attention from their
ignorance and lack of credibility. They conveniently ignore the fact that
budget problems and big government existed before Obama. He didn't create
them.
They call Obama names as if that is a
solution and many even call him a Muslim because they can't all him a
nigger. Muslim just sounds much better to a racist.
They claim they are a national movement
but that too is a lie and sham. In reality they are a group of middle aged
white people registered as Republicans. So how is that a national movement?
Further, they were curiously silent the
past 9 years when the country entered two wars, adopted Medicare Part D and
ran up deficits of about a trillion dollars a year from 2000 – 2008. They
are still silent. Could it be the Republicans did most of that and they
don't want to admit it?
Then the financial system crashed and now
they want better accountability and less government to fix it but can't say
what that really means. They have no ideas about about ways to make the
country financially stable with a competitive edge in the world market place
so we will have more jobs.
They have no credibility and like con
artists everywhere expend a lot of energy lying and scamming the public. In
the long term, it won't work. It's too bad the racists, wing nuts and
political con artists took over.
