Shoddy Polling On Purpose
November 6, 2010
The Las Vegas Review-Journal and Mason-Dixon Polling and Research failed to
accurately predict the 2010 elections in Nevada. Not only did they
fail but failed miserably. Together they implied for weeks that Sharron
Angle would win over Harry Reid, and that Dina Titus would lose big to Joe
Heck. None of this was true after the election.
Now people are wondering what happened and this is the reason.
The Las Vegas Review-Journal and the Mason-Dixon are collaborating to sway
elections for Republicans. By showing Democrats as losing or failing over
weeks and months through articles based on false polls, they hope to
demoralize Democrats and undecided voters. Their purpose was politics and
not journalism.
Political polls published in the Las Vegas Review-Journal were false and
those using and publishing them knew they were.
The Las Vegas Review Journal is a politically connected business that wants
Republicans to be in power. They hide behind the label of being fair and
libertarian but that is false like the polls they foist on Nevadans. |
