Republican Eric Cantor is a
TraitorNovember 18,
2010
Last week, November 10th, the
incoming House majority leader, Eric Cantor (Republican from Virginia)
pledged his allegiance to Israel and not to the United States and President
Obama.
Last week Cantor met with
Israeli Prime
Minister Binyamin Netanyahu about a range of subjects and said he supported
Israel no matter what, and would block efforts by Obama that weren't in
their or his interests. His office put out a statement which, in part said:
Eric stressed that
the new Republican majority will serve as a check on the Administration and
what has been, up until this point, one party rule in Washington. He made
clear that the Republican majority understands the special relationship
between Israel and the United States, and that the security of each nation
is reliant upon the other.
First, Israel is dependent on the United
States but the United States is not dependent on Israel. He inflates the
relationship, perhaps mirroring his ego.
The most disturbing part is that he
said Republicans would serve as a check or block to the
Administration's efforts which
they think are inappropriate or don't absolutely support Israel in all of
its actions.
His supporters can parse his actions, make
excuses and offer lies but Cantor pledged allegiance to a foreign leader,
and this is treason.
