It never stops. A word becomes a rallying point and political dagger and the whackos come out to bark.

First, Palin said she was offended that Obama's adviser used the word retarded when describing some liberals supporting him. On her Facebook page she said White House Chief of Staff Rahm Emanuel should be fired for his 'f----ing retarded' comment. Her call to arms was because of some sort of “mommy rage” about her son. Of course, her comment made headlines which is what she wanted all along.

Palin is so personally and politically retarded that it is amazing so many find her credible.

Well, the retard explosion got Limbaugh excited and he just had to use the word and he did... repeatedly. He did not care Palin used her son's disability for personal and political gain because that sort of thing is just fine with him. According to Limbaugh, he used the word to support Emanuel. This is what he said:

"Our political correct society is acting like some giant insult’s taken place by calling a bunch of people who are retards, retards,"

"I mean these people, these liberal activists are kooks.

"They are loony tunes. And I’m not going to apologize for it, I’m just quoting Emanuel. It’s in the news..."

"I think their big news is he’s out there calling Obama’s number one supporters f’ing retards. So now there’s going to be a meeting. There’s going to be a retard summit at the White House. Much like the beer summit between Obama and Gates and that cop in Cambridge."

Using the word retarded on his radio show wasn't to support Emanuel. He used it because he it is a verbal weapon. It's like a kid who taunts a classmate with the word "fag" to insult and provoke a response and he got it.

Limbaugh acting like a retard for ratings is so retarded but expected. Wonder how he would react to being called a "fag"?
