Former President Bill Clinton said he will not go to the free health clinic in Little Rock, Arkansas because it has been “politicized” by Keith Olbermann. This is what was written about his comments on FireDogLake.com:

“Bill Clinton told FDL’s Eve Gittelson that it would be problematic for him to attend a free medical clinic being held in Little Rock, Arkansas tomorrow because MSNBC’s Keith Olbermann had “politicized” the event.” He indicated that some were turning the event into a primary kickoff against Arkansas Sen. Blanche Lincoln.”

Oh for Pete's sake Bill, you are the consummate politician and politics has been your life's energy source for decades and now you have disdain for politics? Unbelievable!

Yes, we know you gave it your best shot for health care in the 1990s and lost but now it looks like Obama and Congressional Democrats might be successful this time.

Set aside your local political obligations and alliances and publicly support the health event. It's not to much to ask. Is it?
