Shame on Governor Gibbons for Being a Big Baby

On Christmas Eve, Gibbons illegally appointed his buddy, Kirk Montero to the
be Executive Director of the Nevada Tourism Commission with the attitude,
“What are you going to do about it.”
The Commission promptly rejected the appointment on December 29th
when it met. It is the Nevada Tourism Commission that selects three
qualified applicants and the Governor must chose from that short list.
Montero is out and Gibbons is whining about it.
By January 2nd Gibbons was saying he was ashamed at the
commission by the way they treated his buddy. Really?
It is no coincidence the Commission Chair is Brian Krolicki (Lt. Governor) a
fellow Republican recently indicted on four felony charges of fiscal
mismanagement as when he was state treasurer. The two are not friends and
are sniping at each other, except Gibbons is whining and sniping.
Gibbons has no clue it is he who is looking as bad or worse as Krolicki. To
take his temper tantrum to another level, he accused Krolicki of taking a
trip to China for personal benefit at the taxpayer's expense and said he
lied about Montero's application not being submitted in time.
It shameful the way Gibbons is breaking the law regarding the Tourism
Commission. He should be charged criminally like his fellow republican. It
is also shame he is being so immature. We need and deserve better.
Poor Dawn Gibbons (soon to be ex-wife) for
having to put up with him for so many years.
