Fox News Supports Taliban Justice

On July 19th,
Fox News' guest Lt. Col. Ralph Peters labeled Pfc. Bowe Bergdahl, a Taliban
prisoner as “an apparent deserter.” and said,
“I
want to be clear. If, when the facts are in, we find out that through
some convoluted chain of events, he really was captured by the Taliban,
I’m with him. But, if he walked away from his post and his buddies in
wartime, I don’t care how hard it sounds, as far as I’m concerned, the
Taliban can save us a lot of legal hassles and legal bills.”
Fox News did not repudiate Peters'
statements and in keeping silent, gives consent to the Taliban to execute
him. Fox News supports Taliban justice over America's. This is un-American
and disgusting.
No matter what Bergdahl did, it can
be sorted out later by our military justice system. He needs to be returned
to the United States unharmed.
Maybe Peters should volunteer his life for
Bergdahl's. Now that would be justice!
