Differences Between Progressives and Conservatives

Progressives believe sex is a private matter between consenting adults.

Conservatives want to regulate it and pass more laws criminalize it. If they aren’t getting any then you aren’t either.

Progressives believe diplomacy is a sign of strength and though it doesn’t work all the time, it is worth a try.

Progressives like to see new ways of looking at things, learning and expanding their knowledge of themselves and the world.

Progressives believe women must have rights equal to men and be allowed to decide their life path.

Conservatives believe women are subservient to men, they must submit to male power and stay “in their place”.

Progressives see politics as a way to change society for the better by including everyone willing to help.

Conservatives see politics as a way to control the masses and shape society in their image or maintain the status quo.

Progressives see Obama as a good thing for America, that’s why he was elected.
