Dana Perino, former press secretary to GW Bush said on Fox “News” while criticizing Obama of playing politics by refusing to label the Ft. Hood massacre terrorism::

"We did not have a terrorist attack on our country during President Bush's term,"

"I hope they're not looking at this politically. I do think that we owe it to the American people to call it what it is."

Dana Perino is ignorant of the facts or has amazingly forgotten 9/11. The reason we have a “War on Terrorism” is because we were attacked on September 11, 2001. Bush took office on January 20, 2001 so the attacks happened on his watch.

What is even more galling is that Sean Hannity did not correct her or point out her obvious error. He too is ignorant or more likely does not care that lies are more important than facts.

Plus, Bush was warned about an eminent terrorist attack through the now infamous “Bin Ladin Determined to Strike In the US” memo in August. He did nothing after reading it. http://www.thesmokinggun.com/archive/0409041pdb1.html

The attack at Ft. Hood was probably terrorist but the authorities are still investigating the details and it would be premature to label the attack until they are done. Interestingly the attacker's mental state started to deteriorate significantly starting in 2007. One could say that the Bush administration was again unaware or did not care to take action on a potential terrorist threat.

Both Perino and Hannity are playing the politics of Obama Hate where lies are the basis of their warped ideology.
