Czar Nonsense and Racial Hysteria

Republicans are claiming Obama has
appointed dozens of czars and implying he is using them to take over the
country and impose his liberal political will on America. By breathless
talking about this non conspiracy, they forget that their leader and savior,
George Bush had about 35 czars. And never during his terms did they
challenge the czars he had.
Nor did they challenge Bush Senior
or the Reagan czars. Probably because they were white Republicans, so it was
okay.
Then there is the
the “44 Czars
Conspiracy” which claims that 44 czars were appointed by Obama to help Jews
control the country. This is an anti-semitic website called "The Real

The first President with a “czar”
was Nixon in 1974 and that was the “Energy Czar” because of the oil embargo
problems. Reagan had a “Drug Czar” ... it was Joe Biden no less. Clinton had
an AIDS Czar and George W. had many czars including Bird Flu, WMD,
Regulatory, Faith Based, Cyber Security, Katrina, Intelligence, Copyright,
War and TARP.
Obama kept many of the Bush Czars
and added 8 more to deal with the economy and energy problems he inherited
from Bush. These are Obama’s:

The best name for a czar is
“adviser” but it is easier and more sinister these days to call them “czars”
implying a negative communist connotation. No matter what you call them,
they work for the President and are Executive Branch employees there to
advise and do his bidding to keep the government running.
Only Republicans believe a black
president’s czars are repugnant, sinister and unconstitutional. Every time
they criticize Obama’s czars they show the their racist side and define who
and what they are.
