McCain Wants a
Terrorist Attack
June 23, 2008
McCain wants a terrorist attack to win the White House
this fall. His best showing politically is as a “war leader” able to protect
the United States from evil-doers. Right now terrorism is not at the
forefront of the campaign or the in the minds of Americans. McCain knows
this and wants a terrorist attack for political purposes.
His political advisor, Charlie Black told an interviewer
for Fortune Magazine recently that a terrorist attack would give his boss,
McCain, "a big advantage" and said "Certainly it would be a big advantage to
him…” if an attack occurred.
This points out the McCain strategy of fear and their
intent to make the most out of every event related to terrorism, real or
imagined. This is the same tactic Bush has used these past 6 plus years. So
if McCain were elected, it would be more of the same.
McCain's fear politics will work for conservatives and
religionists who are easily intimidated and base their lives on fear. But
for most Americans it is just part of the political background noise... just
more bullshit from a Republican candidate who wants to win at all costs.
Charlie Black is bad for McCain but realistically McCain
needs such a person to keep him on track so they can use fear in the presidential
campaign.
Publicly, McCain said he doesn’t not believe an attack
will help him and wonders why Black would say such a thing. McCain won’t
fire him, after all he IS a politician that wants to win and keep us in fear
forever or in Iraq for 100 years, whichever is best for the Republican Party
and their fear mongers.
Deep down McCain would relish an attack but he just
won't admit it like his advisor.
