Rush Limbaugh to Iraq

Rush Limbaugh always says the Iraq war is necessary and
those who don’t support it are un-American. He beats up on the “liberal
left” and accuses them of denigrating America by having a defeatist
attitude. This is the same old conservative bullshit to keep killing people
in Iraq to make a political point or to stay in power. War helps them
generate fear and people vote for a candidate who promises to end that fear.
Unfortunately and typically, Limbaugh went a step further
on September 26th during his radio show when he referred to
soldiers in Iraq who think the war should end as “phony soldiers”,
essentially saying they are un-American and undeserving of any respect, at
least not from him.
His resonse to any critisism will be to demonize the
liberal media and to say his somments were “taken out of context”.
Limbaugh and people like him support the war and its
escalation because they don’t have to fight in it. He is a coward of the
first order and uses vile words as a shield to cover his cowardice.
Let’s force Limbaugh to be a “real” American by sending
him to Iraq. He can sit in a Humvee when it is 120 degrees, in a flack
jacket, with rifle in hand and stay for several combat tours like thousands
have. Or maybe he can stay indefinitely because he said this about the war
on the same day:
This is the United
States of America at war with Islamofascists. We stay as long -- just like
your job. You do everything you have to do, whatever it takes to get it
done, if you take it seriously.
We need to take Limbaugh seriously and make him serve his
country instead of calling our soldiers names.
