Christian Bullshit

Christians have made big claims about persecution and Bible banning these past six years and this is not coincidentally during the takeover of the U.S. government by neocons and a group of criminal and perverted Republicans some of who claim to be devout Christians.

Current Christians have a new kind of persecution complex and use politics to garner sympathy to validate a new reality and Christian identity. They hear and believe the verbal filth from pulpits and in Congress where false teachers preach bullshit because; in a creepy and insane way it makes them feel good. It also makes them feel righteous.

They are unconcerned their religious and political leaders are no strangers to perversion and criminality so long as they are validated. With this validation they feel justified in spewing hate, are joyful at divisiveness and vote for people just like them.  The cycle of untruth continues and builds. The bullshit piles up and covers the truth of God.

Regrettably current Christians are unaware they no longer follow Jesus. They are happy to be part of the new Christian identify and fervently pray to be included because it gives them cover from their true selves. This is their new religion.

Unfortunately they believe their new Christian identity will shield them from responsibility either in this life or the next.

It won’t.
