Stay the Course is Demonic

October 25, 2006

Bush declared “Stay the course” at least 29 times while in office but his press secretary Tony Snow said it was only eight. The videos do not lie but Snow does. He cannot hide behind ignorance either; it is his job to find out the facts and not willingly spew misinformation. Plus he cannot credibly explain the White House's flip flop on the Iraq War where it is now okay to not stay the course.

Incredible because before this, Bush and Cheney called those who did not want to stay the course as cowardly and un-American.

Bush started all this a few days ago when he said he was "never a stay the course kind of guy". Oh really? The video clips show the opposite. They show him and his people saying “Stay the course” dozens of times and equating those who wanted something different as traitors who wanted to “cut and run”.

Now, Bush no longer says “stay the course” and claims he wants to look at the Iraq War differently and make war plan changes.  What kind of drugs is Bush taking to lie about his past and do a flip flop like this?  Also, what war plan and where is it?

This type of perverted insanity is the same as Bush’s reasons for the Iraq War. First, it was because of WMDs, then it was to create an Iraqi democracy and today Bush said it would be bad if Iraqi oil fields fell into the wrong hands.

Oops! Did the truth slip out? What a shock after all of Bush's lies. The Iraq War is about oil. This vindicates the millions of Americans who believed our invasion was for oil. Bush now confirms this.

Bush and his administration speak platitudes and demonize critics to get control of Iraq’s oil. The cost so far as been +2,800 dead, 21,000 maimed soldiers and more than 300 billion dollars. It is amazing that Bush thinks this a good price to pay and does not care if more will die.

The Iraq War for oil means more death. Bush knows this but presses on because his god is money and power.  How demonic and un-American is that?
