Cheney the
Terrorist
August 11,
2006
During a teleconference
interview on August 9th Cheney said of Joe Lieberman’s loss in
Connecticut:
"The thing that’s partly disturbing about it is the fact that, the
standpoint of our adversaries, if you will, in this conflict, and the al
Qaeda types, they clearly are betting on the proposition that ultimately
they can break the will of the American people in terms of our ability to
stay in the fight and complete the task."
and
"So it’s an unfortunate development, I think, from the standpoint of the
Democratic Party to see a man like Lieberman pushed aside because of his
willingness to support an aggressive posture in terms of our national
security strategy."

He is obviously displeased at
Lieberman's political loss and regards it as un- American. He claims the
voters who rejected Lieberman don't want an aggressive national security
strategy to fight terrorists and therefore want a weak America.
He is basically saying
Americans who exercised their right to vote this month in Connecticut are
un-American.
For Cheney to say or imply
this confirms again, he is un-American. It is astonishing how rapidly he
dismisses our Constitution and the rights it provides. Criticizing voters by
invoking terror is terror itself and unacceptable and disgusting. It is
certainly un-American.
Now that we know Cheney hates
our American democratic principles and is by his definition a
terrorist, we need to send him to a place where he will no longer have a
platform to spew his political hate.
Perhaps Pakistan. They will
like his dictatorial approach and Christo-facist attitudes.
