Typical BS From Republicans
October 24, 2005
Senator Kaye Baley-Hutchenson
(R) Texas, said this past weekend, that if expected indictments against Karl
Rove and Scooter Libby are only for perjury, then they would not
be important, implying there should be no indictments and openly saying lying is okay.
This is exactly opposite to her position in the late 1990s when she said President
Clinton must be impeached because he perjured himself about his relationship with an
intern.
What a hypocrite, what a
political hack and incompetent. Since when, is it okay to lie?
She is obviously trying to
protect Bush, "The Liar", from the effects of his closest advisors' lies. After
all, what is good for Bush is good for her. She wants to be Governor of
Texas one day and maybe even run for President but because of her recent
comments, she is obviously not competent for either job. Certainly not
morally competent.
With Bush and Gang, lying is
part of politics and the way the Administration has operated for nearly five
years. Though Bush promised to do better than Clinton if elected when he ran
in 2000 his supporters such as Kaye Baley-Hutchenson are now say lying is a
minor thing… unimportant.
Pitiful and pathetic.
Her comments hurt Bush more
than help. They support the belief that the Bush Administration is corrupt
and worthy of damnation. Which they are. And, her incredible statement that
perjury is okay shows she might be a secret Democratic agent now outed by
her own words.
Lying is wrong but she thinks
it’s okay when Republicans do it. Amazing how the criminal mind works.
Lying by Bush, Clinton, Libby
and Rove is wrong because it is a slap at our justice system and its
principles and lying can lead terrible consequences. For example, Bush’s lies
to start the Iraq War have lead to nearly 2,000 deaths and about 15,000
maimed soldiers. Terrible indeed.
Yes, Clinton was aware of the
same CIA information about WMDs in Iraq but he didn’t start a war over it.
Bush and his supporters did and that includes Democrats.
Republicans have been backed
into a corner on the CIA agent outing mess. Truth was a certain shield, but
the White House believed in lies instead. As anyone knows, lies just lead to
more lies until things crash like the Bush Administration is doing now. With it, will go
many Republicans up for re-election in 2006.
