Terrorists Killing Their Supporters

November 14, 2005

Many wonder what Muslims think about terror bombings because their public response has been weak. Basically, Muslim groups will simply say they object to terrorist bombings or proclaim it is not the Muslim way because Islam is a peaceful religion. Rarely is there a decisive condemnation of terrorist acts committed by fellow mosque members.

Why so weak a response?

It is because Muslims think it is okay to murder westerners because it suits their desire for revenge against governments they openly or secretly despise.  Muslims target innocent western citizens because they can't attack Western governments directly. Muslim terror serves to elevate the level of fear, keeping people on edge, thinking they might be next. Most Muslims secretly smile every time a non-Muslim is killed in an attack by Al Qaeda or an allied group. They have a religion that supports them.

The recent bombings in Amman, Jordan supports this and shows Muslims culturally, religiously and unreservedly support terror.

The targets In Jordon, three Western hotels, were originally thought to be simply against Western interests. To support this belief, Jordanian-born Abu Musab al-Zarqawi, the leader of Al Qaeda in Iraq, publicly declared his group mercilessly attacked the hotels because Jordan allows them to operate to serve "Jews and the Crusaders". Alluding to the fact that Westerners stop in Jordon before going into Iraq and use it as a base to conduct business with Iraqi companies.

For Muslims, the problem is this: 57 people were brutally killed and 115 wounded and most were Muslims. This reality drove hundreds to respond with anger and fear by demonstrating in Amman. They decried the killing of innocent people, their fellow Muslims. They realize that Muslim terrorism is now actively targeting them and the terror war zone is just outside their homes.

There would be no demonstrations if the casualties were principally Christians or citizens from non-Muslim countries. To support this position, Muslim websites criticized the bombings saying it was wrong to assault and kill fellow Muslims and presumably not others.

Muslims cannot be trusted to help stop terrorism even after Amman bombings. They are hoping their terrorist brothers and sisters stop targeting them so they can go on hating and despising their enemies.. the rest of us.
