Accountability for
Iraq
January 16, 2005
Bush never seems to accept responsibility
for his actions. He also claims he has never made a mistake either. Now, he
has said that no one in his administration can be held accountable for what
has happened in Iraq
because the voters approved his policies in
Iraq by voting for him.
Part of his interview for the Washington
Post went like this:
"The American people listened to different
assessments made about what was taking place in Iraq, and they looked at the
two candidates, and chose me."
So, according to Bush the American people
are responsible and he isn’t.
Never mind, it was Bush and his advisors
who lied and said there were WMDs in Iraq and used that lie to start the war
in the first place. Now it is “our” fault and not his.
Oh, great!
This proves he has delusions of grandeur
and is a sociopath of the first order blaming others for his actions.
Bush and supporters act like he won by a
landslide in 2004 and has an overwhelming mandate from the people. Sorry, he
didn't win overwhelmingly and he doesn’t have a mandate. He won by a very
narrow margin considering this was he second term. About 50.8 percent of
voters selected him and that represents just 38 percent of all eligible
voters. About half of voting Americans did not approve of his Iraq policies
in 2004 and that number is growing each day.
May God save us from this madness.
