Bush as Anti-Christ
September 18, 2004
Many believe Bush is
the anti-Christ. They convincingly cite religious texts and go into great
detail about what the anti-Christ means and how to recognize him. What
are the anti-Christ’s characteristics? No one knows for certain.
We can assume the
anti-Christ he will be the opposite of Christ. He will do things contrary to
the rules of God. He will be clever and deceptive enough to deceive most
people. He will boast he can do many things and claim an intimate
association with God and then proclaim himself god. He will rely on war as a
tool of control.
We can look at what
Bush has done to define what he is. Consider this:
He has deceived many
to start a revenge war in Iraq and to simultaneously redistribute wealth to
the rich. He knows this is wrong because he lies when questioned about the
war. He does it anyway.
He declared repeatedly
the Iraq War was to eliminate the WMD threat and terrorism both untrue. His
administration uses war and threats of war to gain support and stay in
power.
His followers cannot
discern between truth and lies. They embrace Bush’s immorality by supporting
and associating with him.
Despite revelations of
his deceptions, people still believe him. They follow an image he has
created. Doing "God's work" makes him legitimate gives him an image of
infallibility…. like a god.
He is popular despite
the lies, the death and destruction. The political fanaticism surrounding
Bush is worship and like a God, he demands it. His supporters lust for power
and want to be part of his world so they are deceived by the tens of
millions.
He declares the "War
in Iraq" is a good thing and invokes God when doing so.
Bush biblically said:
"God told me to strike at al Qaeda and I struck them,
and then he instructed me to strike at Saddam, which I did, and now I am
determined to solve the problem in the
Middle East. If you
help me I will act, and if not, the elections will come and I will have to
focus on them."

Many times, he has
said he is a man of God who receives messages from God. He uses this to
bolster his image and power. This is self-serving but millions believe it.
He said, to an Amish group in July 2004,
“I trust God speaks through me. Without that, I
couldn’t do my job.’’
He serves only a part
of society, the wealthy and large corporations. He shields them and his
financial allies from responsibility by eliminating accountability laws and
hiding the truth.
He silences those who
speak against him by using his disciples to attack his enemies in all areas
of American government and society. For example, many people now think being
a patriot means you must support Bush unconditionally. Support or worship is
his goal, forced or otherwise.
He believes in
dividing and conquering all within his sphere. He has a great start in
America and has made remarkable progress internationally. He does not use
diplomacy but a stick only requiring mindless force.
What to expect in the
future with Bush in power:
More war and threats of war.
An Iraq War that never seems to end because
it spreads throughout the world.
More open repression of political, social
and scientific dissent.
More covert censorship of the press, school
curricula and the Internet.
More national security rules and edicts to
control the population here and abroad.
More lies and suppression of the truth in
science.
More demands for citizen “sacrifice” to
stop terror in the name of national security.
More travel restrictions in all areas.
More efforts to create a Christian
theocracy by weakening the application of the Constitution.
The next four years
will be pivotal for everyone. Whether you believe in an anti-Christ or not,
America’s path is destructive for itself and others.
Maybe Bush is paving
the way for the world to accept the anti-Christ. An America converted to
Bush’s world would be the first step.
Perhaps the “Mark of
the Beast” is support for Bush leaving an indelible black mark on the soul
that only God can see and use in His future judgment.
