US District Court Blocks the Republican Obstructionists

When will Lyn Hettick (R), minority leader in the Nevada state assembly and his group learn? When will their attorney, John Eastman learn?

The Republican Obstructionist efforts have gotten ridiculous.

They have stalled educational programs throughout the state costing taxpayer money, probably millions by now. No matter, to them.

Ever unrepentant and defiant, they have gathered more supporters in their court fight, mainly other republicans, 24 total, some citizens and several big businesses.

This issue has always been about political selfishness and protecting big business at the expense of education. This would be more palatable if they were honest about this and come out and say it. Lynn Hettrick certainly won't. He hides behind generalities and his attorney.

Nevada citizens loose in this deal because we have politicians such as these. Politicians who desire control and power over the interests of Nevadans as a whole.

This is certainly political selfishness to the max.

The U.S. District Court rejected Lyn Hettrick's efforts to block the July 10th Nevada Supreme court decision that allowed a simple majority to approve a tax package. The U.S. Court lifted their July 14th restraining order against Nevada's supreme court because they lacked  jurisdiction.

No surprise.

John Eastman the attorney for the Republican Obstructionists said he would go  to the 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals asking for an injunction. He also says he may  take this issue to the U.S. Supreme Court, but not right now.

No surprise here either.

Get this..... republicans voted for the tax package they now seek to block!  Unbelievable. The U.S. District court also mentioned this in their hearing and the Obstructionists had no explanation.

Of course they wouldn't comment! The truth would be out and we couldn't have that, now could we?
