| Saddam and His Slaves
March 4 2003
Saddam Hussein said in a letter read on Iraqi TV:
"The tyrant thinks he is capable of enslaving the people and hiding the
decisions, freedoms and legitimate choices (they were born with) when their
mothers delivered them as free people."
I thought he was talking about himself until I realized it was the President
he was referring to.
Let me get this straight. Saddam does not allow public dissent, or free
elections. He kills his detractors sometimes with his bare hands,
steals oil and converts it to money for himself, refuses to buy enough food
and medicine with the oil he has and he refers to Bush as a tyrant.
If anyone has enslaved a group of people who call themselves Arabs, it is
Saddam Hussein and his associates.
His words show his desperation and pandering to a group that already
believes this nonsense. I don't really think "they" believe it either, but
it is useful to keep people in a frenzy.
One day, soon, a tyrant will be overthrown and it won't be a
President.
Saddam needs to look for a new palace in Iran, North Korea or better yet,
France where people like him are always welcome.
